We did a lot in June! I don’t think I realized how much until I sat down to document it.
Spencer. My boy. My little man. My cuddle bug.
Sidney. My firecracker. My smurfette. My littlest princess baby.
These tiny babies are about to turn 4.
My baby is 7, how did that happen??
During one of our many (many many) snow days/delays, the kids and I thought it would be fun to get into the spirit of Valentines Day. They decorated the house, mostly with window clings, and we set up a little Valentine’s Day photo shoot.
I have been absent for a while. A long while. And I have hated it. So much has happened in the kids lives that I want to document in this baby book. But sometimes life gets in the way of recording life. I regret not doing the annual Thanksgiving post. I regret not documenting the little things – like Sidney asking everyone to be quiet please because she is reading. Or her telling me that I need to slow down my horses (hold your horses). The way the kids run up to me and say, Mama I have a big hug inside and then throw their arms around me. And so many other little things that I never documented. I can’t go back. So, I present the annual year in review.
This Halloween Spencer decided to stick with last year’s costume – his beloved Spider-man. We added a mask and he was all set. Emily wanted to be a pumpkin, and I made her a costume and then she decided to wear the Anna costume in the dress up box. And Sidney was a no brainer. One day while I was brushing my teeth upstairs, down in the art room, Spencer was coloring Sidney blue – from head to toe. Under she shirt sleeves, everywhere. Since then we have called her Smurfette (or Murf) and her costume was done.
A week ago Emily lost her first tooth! This is a big deal and we, of course, celebrated! Especially since it had 6 weeks to fall out – we had a lot of time to plan….
