My son may not be military bound, at least not at 11 months, but he is still proud to be all that he can be.
Why is that? Because as of today, Sunday May 26, we have an army crawler!
Spencer is nothing is not determined! For days I have seen his little mind working so hard to figure out how to get things that are just out of reach. He has been scooting backwards for a bit now, but today it all clicked and he used his big, strong, muscular arms to pull himself forward and get the toy! He is so proud of himself! And it is too cute to see that little head pop out from around a corner.
Emily never rolled like Sidney and she never army crawled like Spencer. It is so cool to see these babies take on their own characteristics and personalities.
Today is Memorial Day and I am proud that my son choose to honor those who have served our country in this way, especially those related to him. My grandfather was in the Navy and my cousin (who is so sweet to share a birthday with the twins) was Coast Guard.
Then it’s hi! hi! hey!
The Army’s on its way.
Count off the cadence loud and strong;
For where’er we go,
You will always know
That The Army Goes Rolling Along.
